Howard Terminal Ballpark

Introducing the Howard Terminal and Open Space Preserve, a proposed project envisioned to facilitate not only a sorely needed state-of-the-art ballpark for the Oakland Athletics baseball franchise for decades to come, but also provide green space that has the potential for year round engagement. At the forefront of this mission is to provide the community with a design that embraces sustainability and ecological functionality, in an effort to re-mediate negative environmental impacts that industrial spaces have on their environment. This project is an opportunity to redefine what a professional sporting campus can be, working towards a design that promotes ecological sustainability, preserves local history, and enables economic growth for local businesses and residents.
