By designing an approach that could be utilized on multiple scales to defend buildings with landscape features and firefighter techniques, fears associated with fire could be alleviated, reduce government spending for relief and redirect firefighter resources to active wildfires or prevention. By creating aesthetically pleasing designs and landscape features that are approachable for homeowners or community developers to implement, a resilient community network will emerge.
