Back to the Tracks: Embracing Floodwater Through Resurfacing History
Location: Petaluma, CA

Rising floodwaters seen across the state of California call for resilient design strategies that are not only able to handle large quantities of water but welcome them. Focused on the City of Petaluma, this project aims to resurface the city’s rich history and sacred culture through design strategies that simultaneously embrace floodwaters during everyday rains as well as large storm events.
