Project H.E.A.L.T.H. (Healing Environments Advancing Landscape Therapy & Health)
Location: Davenport, CA

Project Health aims to merge mental health practices with landscape architecture via the practice of Ecotherapy. Safety is a large emphasis on the project which informs the HWY 1 crossing, beach access, and urgent care center. The project is designed on an existing cement plant which has been abandoned for 15 years. 172 acres of unused and polluted land is remediated and repurposed to provide a safe and controlled outdoor experience for both inpatient and outpatient individuals struggling to maintain their mental balance.
