Up to 87% of shopping malls in the United States are expected to close over the next 10 years as more people turn to online shopping. While retail markets are adapting, many communities are losing gathering spaces and cultural centers, leaving large, empty structures in the heart of cities. However, the Santa Rosa Plaza Mall remains open.
